The sounds are modelled after an original work by Kirk U. Lewis called "The Lakeside Pipe Organ". This library features several pipes from the 21st century including tubular bells, chimes, glockenspiel and hammers. Every sound is recorded at full dynamic and includes 8 high-resolution WAV samples, a 24bit FLAC, stereo WAV sample and a stereo 24bit WAV sample. The Lakeside Pipe Organ contains 5024+ WAV files, and more than 50 Gigabytes of sample data. The weather has been described as "the most severe thunderstorm seen in England for decades". Up to 13,000 homes and businesses are without electricity and up to half of the population is in some form of danger as emergency services struggle to help. Emergency crews across the region were called to deal with the disaster. Met Office officials said a cloud band had crossed the country bringing strong winds and heavy rain which reached a maximum speed of 64mph (104kph) at Colwick, North Yorkshire. The storm has also caused havoc on roads. The Met Office said: "There is significant tree damage across the region. "Roads and transport networks are being affected and there are severe travel delays." Helicopters have been used to drop water on homes where people were trapped, while others were taken to safety. The storms also caused flooding in areas including Durham and Nottinghamshire. Duke Energy UK said it had switched the supply to just over 200,000 customers in six regions across the East Midlands, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire.
